ABOUT US

“Lawyers are advocates, and in order to do our jobs well we have to be
experienced, skilled and credible. Let me put these skills to work for you with discount fees.”

2866345Brad Sherman oversees all legal matters at the firm. “I value honesty, trust and fairness and work hard to assure my clients that their trust in me is well placed.”

I have been practicing criminal law since 1998 when I began defending indigent clients charged with misdemeanors. Soon thereafter, I began representing juveniles and then in 1999 I began prosecuting those charged with a crime. From 1999 to 2004, I was able to get criminal convictions from Volusia County Juries for crimes ranging from Battery, Sexual Abuse of Minors, Drug Offenses, DUI Manslaughter to Murder.

Please do not hesitate to ask me about my specific Jury Trial experience. Potential Clients should know as a matter of fact that their attorney is an experienced trial lawyer.

I have a wide range of experience as both a prosecutor and a criminal defense attorney. Do not be put off by the fact that I once prosecuted criminal cases. All of my experience as a trial lawyer serves a very important role for my current representation of criminal defense clients. I know the system better because of my five years as a prosecutor. My years of prosecuting did not create a bias in favor of law enforcement. To the contrary, I have seen countless examples of prosecutorial misconduct and I would be glad to share those experiences with you.

As a defense attorney I have obtained acquittals from Juries for Client’s charged with an array of charges, included but not limited to Sale and Delivery of Controlled Substances, Driving While Under the Influence, Racketeering, Mortgage Fraud, Sexual Abuse upon a Minor, Sexual Battery and a hung jury for a Murder Charge.  I submit that prosecutors will be more motivated to negotiate with me versus a defense lawyer that has no trial experience or someone who very rarely goes to trial.

24 years of experience: I have been practicing law since 1997. My first year out of law school I was doing Insurance Defense work, and soon after realized that I preferred working with the courts and juries to achieve the best result for my clients.

Discount Legal Fees with one-on-one attention: Let me say, if you have ever hired an attorney in the past then you will be pleasantly surprised about the one-on-one attention you get with me. I am communicating with my clients everyday (including weekends) by telephone, email and text messaging. Additionally, my fees are comparatively discounted due to my low operating costs.

Straightforward advice: When you meet me, you will find that I am respectful but direct. Again, I have spoken to countless people who have shared stories with me about not getting the most important information from their prior attorneys. I have always felt compelled to tell people everything they need to know to help them solve a problem. I do this in both my personal and professional life. By the way, being completely candid in my personal life does not work out as well for me as compared to doing it in my professional life.
